After a wait of almost
one month, finally someone from the Foreign Affairs verbally replied to our query
whether any formal
condolences were offered
on behalf of the people of Seychelles and well-wishes to the new man taking the
rule in North Korea, following the death of Kim Jong il.
Very briefly, the ministry official said that it is
customary for head of state to do so, but would not offer any further
explanation.
